There are cheap tiny versions on Amazon that are probably junk and may not actually have transformers inside, just capacitors to lift the voltage from the audio ...

He had so much input and pre-amp gain running that when he was playing, he got that great sound, but as soon as he stopped it went into feedback from all the gain. The 880 does something similar in that when a station that's been full-quieting shuts off, the receiver starts roaring static.

Maybe dumb question, but I'm trying to program Dallas County Skywarn frequencies in my scanner and in the RR database there are Input and Output frequencies listed. Which do I program? Is Output if I were "Transmitting"? Any thoughts? Thanks.

At work we use motorola ht750's, cp200's, and xpr6100's (digital) we have a repeater with a input of 469.0250 and output of 464.0250 standard 5+ offset. I dont know the PL tone but i found the DPL is 723.
